Let the Pre-Season Jib Contests Begin: Hot Dogs and Handrails

The Pre-season jib contest circuit got underway this week with Hot Dogs and Hand Rails at Bear Mountain and the first of The Feeders tour leading up to the Downtown Throwdown...this from our friends at Arbor:

"Venice, CA - September 21, 2010 - Arbor Snowboards is proud to announce that international team rider, Nick Visconti has won Bear Mountain’s Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails 2010...Visconti landed his tricks with style and pulled some unconventional crowd pleasers like his 5-0 through the Red Bull planter box to front flip out, a couple of one-footer wall-ride variations and his patented tuck-knee boardslide. 'Nick seemed incredibly determined from the beginning, but kept it loose with some fun variations,' says Arbor marketing and team manager, Brad Farmer. 'He was landing trick after trick on all of the features with his creative combos and the one footers...he just killed it.'"

He took down $7,500 for first place--not bad. See the video highlights below.
