Warrick Dunn: There Are Avenues to Help Depressed Players

While NFL teams each offer Players Assistance Programs that provide opportunities for players to develop skills needed to deal with the daily pressures of life in the league, former NFL running back Warrick Dunn wants to encourage players to take better advantage of one particular service: counseling.

In fact, Dunn believes it would be beneficial for every player to attend a session to improve their overall well-being.

"I think every player should go to counseling once in a while," Dunn told FanHouse. "Players are human beings, too, and the reality is everyone handles and reacts to pressures and expectations differently."
