1. There's a scene from an episode of The Office where a character -- Andy Bernard -- loses his cool and punches a hole through a company wall. The receptionist Pam, having participated in pranking Andy, says "I think we broke his brain" after the incident.

Well, Nebraska can probably say the same about Washington after waxing the Huskies Saturday, 56-21. The major difference is that the Huskers broke the Huskies' spirit, with coach Steve Sarkisian admitting his players weren't "competing" their hardest in the second half of the defeat.

Quoth the coach:

"I thought in the second half there were moments there that we lacked the competitive nature that this program prides itself on, and I was disappointed in that. That will never happen again. You will see us compete for 60 minutes. I can promise everybody that."

Good luck fixing that, Coach. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
