He was referring to the fake field goal call Spartans' head coach Mark Dantonio drew up in last Saturday's overtime win against Notre Dame. Instead of kicking a 46-yard field goal in an attempt to tie the game up, Dantonio's team successfully converted a fake field goal on 4th-and-13 from the Notre Dame 29 to give the Spartans a stirring victory.
Following the 34-31 win, Dantonio, 54, suffered a mild heart attack, prompting Patrick's comments on his radio show. His lowbrow statement did not go over too well with Michigan State fans.
