Virginia Chiropractor Related to Capitals Pleads Guilty to Steroid Charges

Filed under: CapitalsARLINGTON, Va. -- The chiropractor who treated a handful of Washington Capitals players pleaded guilty Tuesday to steroid charges.

Douglas Nagel, 50, was sentenced to three years' probation for attempted possession of a controlled substance in a Florida courtroom, a conviction that will be wiped from his record if he successfully completes all terms of the probation.

"We couldn't care less," Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau told FanHouse at the team's practice facility. "We had nothing to do with it. We were only involved because people said we were involved." Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
