What do I think about Sunday's NFC South games? Plenty.Drew Brees is untouchable in the Red Zone. I don't know that I have ever seen him sacked inside the 20. A lot of vets are smart enough to throw the ball away and not risk FG position, but Brees also gets the ball out quick. In the high red zone, near the 20, the Falcons need to go get him.
The best way to beat the Saints, I'm convinced, is to keep the ball away from Brees. Play Monopoly. Run it and run it some more.
Atlanta suddenly has two options: Jason Snelling and Michael Turner. Snelling has 133 yards rushing in two games; Turner has 117. Minnesota and San Francisco ran on the Saints.
New Orleans has to get turnovers. The defense is better, but the Falcons' offense is better, too. If Atlanta wins the turnover battle, it wins the game. It's not that I think the Falcons have comparable talent; it's that the Saints are due after two tough wins and the loss of Reggie Bush.
Looking for Jordan Gross and Gang. The Panthers offensive line has been unimpressive. What happened? These guys are the heart of this team. They have not played well.
Jimmy Clausen will not run scared. He may get duped into some interceptions, but he will not rattle and make a desperate throw that will hurt his team, I think.
