Steelers Show Titans Who's Tougher

Filed under: Steelers, Titans, NFL QuarterbacksNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- These things were clear after the Steelers rattled the Titans here, 19-11:

o. Ben Roethlisberger need not worry. The Steelers quarterback job will be his upon his return on Oct. 17 vs. Cleveland. There are two more Steelers games (Tampa Bay and Baltimore) to go until his suspension is lifted. Expect a hodge-podge of Dennis Dixon and Charlie Batch in those, much like what was thrown at the Titans. It's simple -- Ben is better and needed.

o. The Steelers are resourceful when it comes to massaging and managing their game in Roethlisberger's absence. Their 89-yard reverse, opening kickoff return for a score threw "this game off track ... and it kind of went from there,'' Titans coach Jeff Fisher correctly surmised.
